Pipkin, 90, of Lancaster, PA entered into rest on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Conestoga View where she resided for almost 2 years. She was born in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of the late Frank Z. and Helen (Weit) Richwine.Edna worked at Lombardo's Restaurant, Rose Bowl Restaurant, Lancaster Regional Medical Center, and finally at Lancaster Career and Technology Center in Willow Street, PA. She enjoyed Bingo and getting together with her family.Always known for her great sense of humor, her nickname suited her! She was a "Pip." She loved people, kids and animals. She always surrounded herself with as many people as possible. As the workers on the 6th floor of Conestoga View very soon realized, she loved attention.Edna will be lovingly remembered by her children, Deborah A. Pipkin and Robert L. Pipkin, Jr., both of Lancaster; and her sister, Dorothy Nicklaus of Manheim, PA. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Nagley, Grace Groff, Paul Richwine, and Frank Richwine.Funeral Services will be on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred F. Groff Funeral Home, 234 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service.Burial will be in Conestoga Memorial Park in Lancaster, PA. Powell Jr., 70, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, in Stein Hospice Care Center surrounded by his loving family.Ken was born June 13, 1947, in Sandusky to the late Kenneth Powell Sr. and Marjorie (Motry) Speer.Ken graduated from Margaretta High School in 1965 and retired from Ford Motor Company. He served with the United States Army in Vietnam. He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, all in Sandusky. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and woodworking. His greatest joy of all was spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.Ken is survived by his daughter, Truli (Dan Borgner) Powell of Delaware, Ohio; sons, Shane (Debbie) Powell of Pennsylvania and Scott (Kellye) Powell of Delaware, Ohio; grandchildren, Liberty, Victoria, Zachary, David, Jena and Ella; sisters, Beth Melville of Amherst, Ohio, and Patti (Jeff) Nikoli of Norwalk; and brother, John (Natalie) Powell of Sandusky.In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patty (Wills) Powell, and sister, Shirley Hodgkinson.A visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Entombment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 E.
